Looking to sail away with the right wench

I sing in my church Choir (Bass/Baritone).
Church is very important to me.

I attend Renaissance Faires when I can, dressed as a pirate.
I write poetry. Mostly rhyme, but some free-verse.
I have a horrible sense of humor. Puns are my specialty.

I enjoy dark rooms with candles or oil lamps. I love old-world incense.
I love cuddling on the couch in the dark.
My favourite type of weather are storms. The harder the rain falls, the stronger the wind blows, the better I like it. I find that when nature is at its angriest, I am at my calmest.

I love singing, whether it is in the shower, or serenading.
I am rather a spontaneous person.

I cut over 10 inches of hair for Locks of Love in late August, and am starting to grow it out again. I cut it every couple years, or when it gets long enough to donate.

I do smoke a pipe, not cigarettes. High quality tobaccos, aromatic.
I wear fedoras, porkpies, and trilbys, but I do not own one baseball cap.

Sports does NOT interest me. I am not a fan. If the Raiders played the Dodgers in the Final Four, I don't know who would win the Stanley Cup.

I do love to watch and play Texas Hold-em, as well as Billiards/Pool.

I drink seldom, however I do not drink beer. I prefer some rum, honey whiskey or honey mead. A bottle will last me 6 months.

My television/movie tastes range from comedies to action to drama.
I am a huge fan of BBC comedy/drama. I am not a fan of the gory movies, but true horror suspense is fine.

My musical tastes are vast and varied, from Big Band/Swing to Blues, and Old Country (not new country), Jazz, and Celtic/Folk music as well.

Not a fan of rap or the harder metals, except for a very few cases.

That's pretty much me. I am relatively quiet and shy at first, but the more I get to know you, the more I open up.
